GRANT AMATEUR RADIO CLUB NET PREAMBLE

A few minutes before 9:00:
This is (call sign),  please stand by for the Grant Amateur Radio Club net.

At 9:00:
This is (call sign), my name is (name) and I will be this evenings net control
for the Grant Amatuer Radio Club. This net is held every Sunday evening at 9pm
local time and we invite all licensed amateurs to check in. This is a directed
net, and we ask that you please conduct all communications through net control.
Any listening station may also ask questions or leave comments concerning the
Grant Amateur Radio Club Net at our web site http://garcohio.net.
Before we begin are there any stations with emergency or priority traffic.
(pause)
When checking in please give your station call sign, name, location, type of
power you are using, and indicate if you have any comments, questions, or
announcements for the net.
(pause)
Are there any comments or special announcements from any club officer?
(Acknowledge any comments or announcements made)
Are there any short of time or mobile stations wishing to check in?
(Acknowledge stations as they check in)
I will now call the GARC net roster.
(Call the roster and acknowledge stations as they check in)
Are the any other stations anywhere with a late check in?
(Acknowledge stations if any)
Are there any last minute announcements or comments from any station?
(When there are no further check ins or announcements)
This is a final call for check ins for the Grant Amateur Radio Club Net.

This concludes the Grant Amateur Radio Net for (date). This net will be held
next Sunday evening at 9:00pm local time. Thank you for your participation in
the net and please join us again next Sunday. This is (your call sign),
returning the frequency to normal operations.

During the net, you as net control may make comments or ask questions as you
see fit. Please keep a dated list of all the stations that check in by name
and call sign. Recognize all stations by announcing them and thanking them
for checking in, and remember to ID every 10 minutes durring the net.
After the net has closed verify the total number of stations that check in
with the net control officer.
